Blue Plaque for Exeter's Nursing 'Angel' Elsie Knocker

Haarer Goss attending the unveiling of a Blue Plaque on one of the properties it has for sale over the weekend.

Elsie Knocker was born a 1 Barnfield Crescent, Exeter 29th July 1884 and was a nurse and ambulance driver on the front line in Pervse alongside best friend Mairi Chisholm and won many medals for bravery.
